Actually, while I am against most gun control laws at all including this one, this type of law would be easier to accept if it could only be applied to someone that was using a gun in the commission of a felony. A felony charge for mere possession would lead to law abiding citizens made felons if they failed to obey some obscure law that defined it as "illegal possession" such as having the wrong capacity magazine.

ReplyDeleteThe gun grabbers love to continuously redefine what is illegal to fit their agenda, therefore anyone with a gun can be in "illegal possession".
If "illegal possession" is limited to prohibited persons then go for it. Otherwise, no.
Maybe the answer is for the evil federal government to regularize things with country-wide regulations that are strict but clear.
