Well actually, the bill has fifty some odd Dems' signed on and no republicans..... good luck with all that "momentum", and we already have background checks here in the USA.... I don't know about Italy....

You know what the problem is, no one is saying it yet, but it's that background checks on all gun transfers pretty much requires licensing and registration. Otherwise, how could it be controlled?
