I hope they've enjoyed themselves and stocked up enough, because it's all down hill from here.As most state legislature's sessions come to an end The Campaign to Keep Guns Off Campus reports that 15 states defeated guns on campus legislation. The biggest defeats came in Arizona, Louisiana, Nevada, and Texas. "For the most part our side prevailed, despite huge odds in places like Arizona and Texas" said Andy Pelosi, director of The Campaign.

So you count blocking the expansion of gun rights through new legislation a "win". Fine. I would much rather see your "wins" like that then getting any gun control passed.
ReplyDeleteOf course our wins this year are real "wins" including closing the restaurant loophole in Ohio, castle doctrine in a couple of states, concealed carry in Wisconsin and many more successful campaigns that expand gun rights and remove silly, ineffective gun control measures.
Hey! Since you also count it as a "win" if someone files a lawsuit against one of those new pro-gun measures then with all the new pro-gun legislation passed you will have plenty more opportunities for "wins".

In CA, CCWs have no limitations on school grounds. One less argument to fight once CCW becomes shall issue nationwide.
