Alabama Woman Identified in Dropped-Gun Death - Still No Charges

Local news reports on one of the dropped-gun victims we've recently talked about.
Michelle West was a stay-at-home mother of two young children.
She died in her home on Charest Road near Somerville, after being shot once in the chest by a .38 caliber pistol.

“[West's husband] had come home from work and was looking over a pistol that he had for sale and he was going to clean it,” said Morgan County Chief Deputy Mike Corley.
“At this point, it is all indications that this was a tragic accident,” say investigators. What do you say? Please leave a comment.

  1. Does your title mean he was alone when he was shot, or that the wound was self inflicted? Your fractured English prose makes it hard to understand.

  2. It's Alabama so they're probably fooled by things like science and forensics.

    Case sounds awful fishy.
