Bill Whittle - The Lynching of George Zimmerman

It's pretty amazing that he says you can make codeine-based "Lean" without anything that contains codeine. You cannot. You still have to add a prescription cough medicine that contains codeine; Robitussin doesn't have it.

Second, Trayvon Martin was carrying neither codeine based medicine nor Robitussin. This is akin to saying that if Trayvon was carrying a bazooka he could have blown GZ to smithereens.

  2. Jadegold, have you heard about Robitussin Ac? Look at its list of ingredients.

Mikeb, Whittle uses the modern definition of tragedy, which I quibble with, but other than that, I'm curious to know what you see as wrong here. Do you challenge any of his claims of fact? No doubt you disagree with his interpretations, but how and why?

    1. First of all, this guy is a puppet for PJTV. That pretty much condemns him to conservative-hate land right there. Secondly the whole thing about mixing stuff to make some kind of mind-altering cocktail is stupid. It's the codeine that gets you high not that other shit, not skittles and a very specific brand of iced tea. That's like saying Tanqueray and tonic is worse than straight Tanqueray.

    2. 1. Bigots always go after groups, rather than discussing what has been said.

      2. If the popular recipe includes a particular list of ingredients, it's indicative when someone is found with those ingredients.

  3. Robitussin AC is a prescription medication. Can't get it without a prescription.

    1. 1. Teenagers get ahold of prescription medicine all the time.

      2. I suppose it never occured to you that someone in the house where he was staying had a prescription for just that medicine?

    2. Oh, just like you can't get a gun without a background check, right?

  4. The media portrayed Trayvon as a little angel as proven by having candy and a drink. This is showing that the candy and tea could be indicative of some bad behavior on his part.

Either way you interpret them, they're irrelevant as Zimmerman wouldn't have known about them and even the latter use wouldn't have justified deadly force. All that matters is Who attacked whom, and whether Trayvon used enough force that Zimmerman could reasonably have been in fear for his life.

That's all that matters, and that's what the verdict was reached upon.

    1. It's amazing that a leftist group is called Moveon.org, since the one thing that leftists cannot do is move on.
