The Golden Ring Of Freedom

Although the NRA has insisted that it does not receive much money from the gun industry, a new report suggests that those claims are not accurate.
The Violence Policy Center recently released a 20+ page report entitled Blood Money II: How Gun Industry Dollars Fund The NRA. The report details the NRA’s “Corporate Partners Program,” which allows the organization to receive funding directly from corporations.
In its report, the VPC reveals that the NRA inducts those corporate partners that donate over $1,000,000 to the organization into a designation called the “Golden Ring of Freedom.” Included in the Golden Ring Of Freedom are eight corporations involved in the gun industry.

  1. Well, the Violence Policy Center isn't noted for its honesty or accuracy, but even if this report is correct, so? The interests of the gun industry and of gun owners are the same in many ways.

  2. So, you say the NRA does not do these kind of things?
